I started with The Ann Arbor News as a part-time sports reporter in 2011 before leaving to take a job with the Hillsdale Daily News in December 2012. I've returned to Ann Arbor where I cover the City of Ypsilanti. I'm a graduate of Washtenaw Community College and was the editor of its student newspaper, The Washtenaw Voice.

A margin of 57 votes is all that separated Washtenaw Community College Trustee Mark Freeman from being re-elected Tuesday night as he lost out to David DeVarti 19,973-19,916. Worker taken to U-M hospital after fall at Ann Arbor construction site

A man was transported to University of Michigan hospital Monday afternoon after he fell approximately 20 feet to the ground while working at a construction site in Ann Arbor.
