ATTENTION SUBSCRIBERS:

A number of newspaper and magazine subscribers across the country have been receiving unauthorized "renewal notices."

These deceptive notices are sent by independent solicitation companies without the approval of the newspaper or magazine publisher and seek subscription payments in amounts significantly higher than the Publisher's rates.

The companies use many names such as "Publishers Distribution Services," "United Publishers Network," and "Customer Access Services" to name a few. While the names vary, the unauthorized subscription notices typically instruct payments to be made to an address in Oregon or Nevada.

Subscription bills from MLive Media Group newspapers will always include our logo, make specific reference to your account status and request that payments be made to our payment processing center in Louisville, KY.

If you receive a billing notice that you are unsure about or which is unfamiliar to you, you should not respond to it.
