How to Make Candy Apples
Candy apples are a great fall treat that's easy to make and tastes great. This article will show you how to make them.

- 3 tsp cane sugar
- Warm water
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 chocolate bar (optional)
- Some apples(red ones are usually best)
- 1 handful of ground almonds
- Golden syrup

1Choose a ripe apple and stick a skewer into it.Ad

2Place the skewered apples in the fridge.

3Put warm water in a pan at low heat.

4Drop 3 teaspoons of cane sugar in the pan along with 4 tablespoons of golden syrup. If you want a chocolate one, break up the chocolate into the pan instead of golden syrup and cane sugar.

5Stir until the mixture is thick, but make sure nothing burns.

6Pour the caramel or chocolate into a cooking dish and let cool.

7Once cooled, dip the apples in the dish containing the sugary mixture.

8Sprinkle ground almonds onto the apples if desired.
