INTA Weighs In on Canada’s Proposed Amendments to the Trade-marks Regulations 2014
INTA has submitted a more than 100-page document commenting on the recent consultation paper published by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office on proposed amendments to the Trade-marks Regulations 2014. The Association is particularly concerned about the removal of “use” as a prerequisite to registration, proposals to limit the information provided on the Register and the need for more in-depth discussions with stakeholders on the draft implementing regulations relating to the Madrid Protocol. Read the full submission here.
