How to Light Wet Matches
You're out camping and your matches got soaked. You don't have a lighter, so what do you do? Got a flashlight? If so, you're in luck...
EditSteps
-
1If you have a flashlight, take it apart. Take the reflective piece out of the upper part.Ad
-
2Take one match out if it's group/pack/whatever and stick it through the hole in the reflective part you took from the flashlight where the bulb would have normally been. Make sure the head of the match is in the right way, With the head going in the smaller hole of the piece.
-
3Hold the wood/whatever end of the match with your nails or tips of your fingers. Hold it up directly facing the sun with it being held as far as possible away from you.
-
4You'll need to angle it correctly and hold it at the same position long enough for it to be dried and to light.
-
5Being very careful, remove the lit match from the reflective part of your flashlight. Put your flashlight back together and there you go.Ad
