Two Methods:SocializingTantrums and Situations

Autistic people have the same minds as us, but work in different ways. They're not aliens but sometimes they could act a bit weirdly. It's normal. If you would like to socialize or calm them down, follow these really simple steps.

EditMethod 1 of 2: Socializing

  1. 1
Start a conversation by getting to know them. Talk to them, and say things that you like. In some cases, they can't talk exactly the way everyone else does. If that's the case, then you can just do all the talking, or give them yes or no questions.
  2. 2
In order for them to like you, participate in mini activities with them such as puzzles, hide and seek, etc. They will get used to you quick.

EditMethod 2 of 2: Tantrums and Situations

  1. 1
At times, things could get really frustrating for them or a bit stressing. This will result in a tantrum or crying. In order to stop this, you need to talk to them slowly but gently. This will calm them down a bit. Ask if he/she would like to do something together with you. this will take their minds off of everything.
