1Visit Spain. The Running of the Bulls is held every year in East Pamplona, Spain, and is a 1 kilometer (0.62 mi) race down the streets in the town. There are six 1-ton bulls in the field and eight oxen who herd them. Runs take place every morning between July 7-14.
-
2Enter the plaza before 7:30.
-
3When the barriers open, head to any spot you like to await the bulls.
-
4Pay attention to the fireworks. The first indicates the corral is being opened. The second indicates it is time to start running!

EditTips
- Get a good night's sleep, and stay sober the night before you attend the run.
- If you fall over, stay down. If you stand up the bulls could gore you. Beware of pile-ups around turns.
- Don't run with friends, they may distract you.
- If you make it to the bull ring, fan out to it's edges. Running to the center makes you the bulls-eye!
EditWarnings
- This may lead to serious injury or even death.
