  • When you initially turn the device on the first time, the device will ask for your location. You can either enter your zip code, or you may connect your device to a GPS system or enter your exact location in numeric numbers. This may pull up an infinite amount of stations, and may therefore, take a long time to initially set up. Be careful.
  • According to the Uniden HomePatrol product specifications page, the amount of spaces available to store the frequencies is nearly infinite. So go ahead and store whatever pieces you'll need to keep on the device. [1]
  • Entries that are being entered into the HomePatrol through the Quick Frequency method, aren't being stored into the device [2], and the moment you try to save another frequency, the previous entered frequency is removed from the device [3].
