Also, is there a way to revert a proposed redirect or do you have to patrol it, create a double redirect, then eliminate the double redirect? I am looking at a WE14's proposed redirect of B Happy when Sick to Be Happy when Your Sick. I hate to patrol it, but maybe I have to.

Something was incorrect and I fixed it on focus

Thanks for your edits on User_talk:Wikivisual. I just talked to Thom and coincidentally these were actually ones that he found personally for Jack, since the article is near and dear for Jack - they were all uploaded to Flickr, Wikimedia Commons, etc, under an appropriate Creative Commons license. That being said, it looks from the anon edit like the creator might not have realized how they were licensing the image, or might have changed their mind, so we'll just leave that one off, no biggie. And I'll ask him to double check and make sure any needed attribution is provided. Thanks for the heads-up and giving us a chance to review!

PS I found the original image on Wikimedia Commons -- looks like it was uploaded there in a way that would be fine to use here but is now nominated for deletion. So perhaps a third party uploaded it without the photog's permission. Anyway, we don't want to keep any image he doesn't want up, so it's staying off! We've updated the attributions on the other images, too. But I'm going to have Jack double-check I got it right, since he's more of a whizz with CC licensing than I am. Thanks again for the note about it!

When I first asked someone if audio examples of the exercises would be acceptable and useful, they said they thought them appropriate and that they'd be approved. I spent a lot of time creating these. It's disappointing if they will be removed, after I initially asked. Is there some way a person in a position to do so can admit them? It's almost impossible to describe a vocal exercise without some sort of cue other than text. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for working with Susan on the article and links. They are admittedly outside of usual policy -- but she's certainly a good faith editor (wife to User:LorenH, and giving away her exercises and music under a CC license), and I thought it would be a reasonable rule-bending given how it might really help readers trying to actually do her exercises. What do you think? No problem if you disagree - I'm happy to explain it, given that I was the one who went out on a limb for it. Let me know if so and I can take care of it, or I can ask for consensus in the forums, or something along those lines, if you think that'd be a better course of action. Cheers, Jeff!

May I ask why the default text and background thing is a policy? I feel there should be a compromise where users can still pick background and font colors, but keep the eye straining ones prohibited.

If a user wants to have a colored background but suddenly finds out he is violating a policy, will he be happy? No.

Hey - I saw your note on my talk page, about letting the author know when I nfd an article. I generally do, and I could have sworn I did in this case specifically - I explicitly remember typing out Make Bubble Solution. But apparently I didn't - maybe I forgot to actually click "Post" or something? Hey. From what I saw of the article, the tips could be applied to either gender, and nothing to me seemed to indicate that the article was strictly for boys besides the use of the word "his" in the title. The fact that the pictures include girls didn't really make the article seem like the steps couldn't also be applied to boys.

The gender tag was partially to help bring attention to this and help make a judgement call on this. Right now the steps still address your crush as "him", which again, seems like while it could have been directed at steps only for girls, I thought it was just that the author was a girl and wrote that way naturally.

I would agree that the title could be changed to be better. Oxford Dictionaries says that it can be okay to use a plural pronoun as singular to refer to something where the gender is not clearly mentioned (although there is mild controversy about it), but I could also see changing the article to Ask Your Crush for His/Her Phone Number. If we do want to change it back so that the article is specifically about girls asking for numbers, I think a better title than the previous one would be something like Ask Your Crush for (His/Her)/Their Phone Number. There was a bit of discussion in the forums recently about sexuality neutrality, and so were it about girls, I suppose it could be about forming a lesbian relationships. Although again, at the moment that doesn't seem to be mainly what it's about, but there's certainly nothing in there that claims that it couldn't be about that.

There's a lot of ways the article could be interpreted at the moment in my eyes. Let me know what you think and get back to me.

I am up to speed now. I will press that mark as patrolled button, too, when rolling back. I agree with the your logic, and it's nice to have confirmation that this is the right thing to do, because it's hard to take that action, for a vandal's edit.

If you go to my user page, and scroll down to the bottom, you will see a big area where you can ultimately insert pictures and as much writing as you want! I changed the border colour to red, from green.

Thehelper101 , identified as, gave me this. When he gave it to me, he said, "Nice job! I'm going to give you a belt!" And that's what it was.

Up till now, I am unsure of the REAL name for this so called "belt." I published two articles on how to edit them, but because of the name, it doesn't make sense.

For wikiHow's sake, if there is already an article of it, you are free to delete these two articles.

I noticed an article here [[1]] that I think should have it's title changed to "Murder your Parents (Pretend)." As it is, a reader may look at this article and consider actually murdering their parents.
