প্রতিনিয়ত উন্নত হচ্ছে আমাদের জীবনযাত্রার মান। আর সেই সাথে বাড়ছে আমাদের শেখার ও জানার চাহিদা। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় প্রতিনিয়ত তৈরী হচ্ছে নতুন কিছু আর সেগুলো সর্বজনীন করার মাধ্যমে সকলে যেন তা সবাই জানতে পারে, তা শিখতে পরে তাই তথ্য প্রযুক্তির আলোকে উইকি হাউ সৃষ্টি করেছে উপযুক্ত শিক্ষামূলক একটি দুনিয়া। এটি এমন একটি দুনিয়া যেখানে সবাই সবকিছু শিখতে পারে , শেখাতে পারে সবাইকে সব কিছু।
মূলত, উইকি হাউ ( WikiHow ) হলো একটি উন্মুক্ত শিক্ষামূলক অলাভজনক প্রতিষ্ঠান। যেখানে পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তের প্রফেশনাল লেখকদের মাধ্যমে প্রায় ২ লক্ষ-এরও বেশী বিষয়ের উপর দিক নির্দেশনা আছে যার মাধ্যমে একজন পাঠক তার পছন্দের বিষয়টির উপরে হাতে খড়ি থেকে শুরু করে ধাপে ধাপে (step-by-step) এবং সঠিক দিক নির্দেশনার মাধ্যমে সর্বোচ্চ পর্যায়ে পৌছাতে পারবে।

wikiHow is a collaborative effort to create the world's most helpful how-to guides. Like Wikipedia, wikiHow is a wiki, in that anyone can write or edit a page on the site. Thousands of people from all over the world have collaboratively written 180,336 how-to articles. Over 40 million people a month read wikiHow according to Google Analytics and Quantcast ranks us as the 150th most popular website.
We are currently building versions of wikiHow in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, and Dutch. We hope to eventually launch wikiHow in many other languages in time.
EditWho we are
A vibrant volunteer community of writers and editors from dozens of countries form the core of wikiHow. Everyone who contributes to wikiHow does it because it's fun. Other common reasons people contribute include the desire to help others, the joy of collaborating on something larger than any individual could achieve independently, the thrill of being read by a very large audience, and the desire to build real world skills like writing and leadership.
wikiHow founder, Jack Herrick and a small paid staff of full time employees help keep wikiHow moving forward. Our headquarters are in a house, yes a house, in downtown Palo Alto, California.
EditHow wikiHow works
Because wikiHow is editable by anyone, our content changes every day. Each edit can be seen on our list of Recent Changes, which gets reviewed constantly. Volunteer recent changes patrollers quickly revert poor edits. Several other quality control tools work together to make sure each article improves over time, as more and more people contribute their unique knowledge and skills.
We share our instructions freely via a Creative Commons license that allows wikiHows' to be republished by any organization or person for any non-commercial purpose. We also freely share all our open source software.
We consider ourselves a hybrid organization, a for-profit company focused on creating a global public good in accordance with our mission. We support ourselves financially by showing optional advertising. Yet, we don't think that ads should be shoved down your throat. We allow anyone to opt-out of ads on wikiHow by clicking "hide ads" on the right navigation of any article or by simply registering an account to join our editor community.
