- Click on a Talk link, next to a Username, on the History page of an article.
- Click on a Talk link, next to a Username, in Recent Changes.

2Use any of the following methods to find a User page:
- Click on a Username at the bottom of an article.
- Click on a Username on the History page of an article.
- Click on a Username in Recent Changes.
- Enter "http://wikihow.com/User_talk:Username" in the Search box at the upper right of any page. Replace "Username" with the name of an editor.

3Once on the User page, click on their Talk tab.

4Scroll to the bottom of their Talk page to leave a message.
- Limit discussion to information about wikiHow.
- Discuss projects or provide feedback and encouragement.
- Be civil, kind and respectful. Be constructive rather than critical.
- Assume good faith. Everyone makes mistakes.
- Keep in mind that every message is patrolled and read by the general public.
- Use wiki syntax, templates or images within your message.
