What do you do after the apples are on the stovetop? How long do they have to cook? Do you mash them up? Do you boil all of the liquid out?

I'm working on the instructions. I have quite a few apples here and will be trying a recipe or two so I can get cooking times and temperatures. I also think there has to be some kind of citrus... otherwise it will oxidize.

You need to add water or apple juice when you put the apples in the sauce pan.
