EditSteps
EditMethod 1 of 3: Getting the Software
-
1Firstly, you will need the software. You can find the software at http://en.pangu.io/

2Next, select which version you need for your computer: Mac or PC

EditMethod 2 of 3: Connecting Your iDevice
-
1Connect your iDevice to your computer with a cable.
-
2If not already done, you will have to update your iDevice to the newest possible update.
-
3Then restore it. Ideally have backup as if something goes wrong, you will need it) You must restore off your PC.
-
4After everything is setup, keep your iDevice connected but close all iTunes applications as they could interfere with the software.
EditMethod 3 of 3: Using Pangu
-
1Open Pangu. When it is open, you should successfully see at the top of the page that the correct iDevice is connected.
-
2Then click the black button to the right. It should say "Jail Break"
-
3During this turn your password off. Do this previously too.
-
4Also turn the date on your iDevice about a year before. This is in general settings.
