You must know how to clean cuts so they are not infected. You have to do it correctly. If you don't know how to do this the right way, you can cause an infection.

    Get band-aids, water, MEDICATED lotion, paper towels/ cloth towels, and clean hands; Preferably gloves are used. Have it all ready and take it to the wounded as soon as possible!

    Put on your gloves/clean your hands. If you don't have clean hands, it could be very bad. Your contagious hands have germs that have no need to be passed around.

    Get a paper towel and slightly wet it. Dab it on the wound to clean it. Do not scrub it.

    Now, you have your band-aid. Do not open all of it up! Do not touch the white part of the band-aid!     Last, now that you have fixed the cut, take the injured into safety as soon as possible. It is important for the injured to rest for a bit. It does not matter if it is a small paper cut or a big wound! (If it's a big wound, you better call the hospital fast!)

    At night, open up the band-aid and let the cut feel some air for a bit. Do not stress the cut when it is open! Be sure to repeat steps 1-7 everyday until the wound isn't completely fixed. You must must must repeat 1-6 in the morning when you wake up!
