How to Be Less Aggressive when Your Are Being Wound Up
If you have anger problems and you want to try and control it, but your friends constantly wind you up to make you angry, then this is for you.
EditSteps
-
1Figure out what it is that winds you up. It could be a simple action or phrase.Ad
-
2Find out WHY they wind you up. sometimes it doesn't even have to be for a reason. it could be because they want to watch you lash out and get angry for pure humour. or because they just don't like you.
-
3Don't get angry. The reason why they wind you up is (likely) to see you lash out so if you don't give them what they want, then they will find it a waste of time and will do it less. one way to not get angry is to just laugh at it, show that you just don't care and ignore them, give them a certain gesture, or pretend to get angry in a comedic way. -
4You could just go the angry way anyway and punish them for winding you up. just make sure that you don't make a fool of yourself whilst doing so otherwise they will just laugh at you. and make sure it hurts.
-
5OR instead of all of that, just don't hang out with them for a while. If they ask why, then you have a reason.Ad

EditTips
- Have a different and understanding friend to talk to about it. if your lucky then they might discuss it with your friends who wind you up and if your very lucky, then they might do it less or stop completely.
- Sometimes if you aren't even angry at anything, and just slightly miffed, then they might still do it which WILL make you angry. and they will mock you more.
- if they do wind you up for no reason, they go the comedic way and just pull a funny angry face and laugh.
