Two Parts:Getting TuneIn RadioListening to a Station with TuneIn

Android requires apps to get things done on your device, and one of these is listening to radio stations. TuneIn Radio is a great Android app for doing this, as it has plenty of FM/AM radio stations and podcasts. It is free to download from the Google Play Store and is easily installed and used.

    Launch the Google Play Store. Do this by tapping on the white shopping bag with the Play icon on it.

    Search for TuneIn. Tap the search icon in the upper right corner, and type in “TuneIn radio” and hit the search button again.

    Select the correct app. In the results, tap the one made by TuneIn Inc.

    Get TuneIn. Tap “Install” and accept the permission requirements.

    Launch the app. Once installation has finished, tap the “Open” button that replaced “Install” on the app’s Google Play page.

    Browse stations. In the main app screen, you will be taken to the left panel. From here, you can browse or search for stations. Tap on either search or browse.
    • When searching, type in the station name to get results.

    Select a station. Tap on the station you want to bring up their menu.

    Listen to the station. Under “Stations,” tap the Play icon to begin streaming their broadcasts.
