If you have ever used a computer that has Vision 6, then you know that it can be very frustrating. The 'command center' of this program is only accessible from the Administrator's computer. However, there is one way to disable this pesky program.

    When SVRMGR.exe opens it should display the computer's name, and type. Click Computer and then select "Services...".

    With the "Services" dialog box open, scroll down until you see "Vision Control Manager. Select this service, and press "Stop". **Note: This only disables Vision until the computer has been restarted. To keep this disabled permanently highlight the Vision Control service and press "Disabled"; press OK to save your changes.

    When you click Stop, the Vision service is stopped, you may safely browse the internet, and use your computer without being monitored with Vision 6.

  • If you need to reenable Vision for any reason, simply unselect "Disabled" and it should run the next time the computer is turned on.
