Have you ever had problems trying to do things in XP but it says you don't have correct privileges to carry out the task? It is very simple to boost your privileges, temporarily and have full control of what you are doing.

    Go Start -> Run and type in cmd.

    type in 'at' without the quotes.

    If it comes up access denied, bad luck. If it doesn't, good.

    Type 'at (time in 24 hr format +1 minute) /interactive cmd.exe' without the quotes.

    Close cmd. As soon as the time gets to the time you set, another command prompt window should come up. Bring up task manager (ctrl+alt+del). Go to the processes tab and look for 'explorer.exe'. Click on it and say 'end process'.

    Go back to the command prompt window and type 'explorer.exe' without the quotes.

    After a minute or two, your computer should look similar to how it usually looks. But, if you bring up the start menu, it will say 'system' as the user name. You are now working under the system account and have unrestricted access to your own computer. As soon as you log off, this will be reset back to your normal account. Have fun!
