If you are at a 5th grade age, you would probably be assigned a project on Christopher Columbus. What you have to do is get information on him and get things like his birthday, his voyages, and when Christopher Columbus began and ended his explorations and voyages.

EditSteps

  1. 1
Find information online. Search for "Christopher Columbus" on the Internet.
  2. 2
    Go to your local library.
  3. 3
Take notes. Notes help you remember information as well as act as a reference for writing.
  4. 4
Decide on the information that you wish to add. Make sure to add key facts, not little sides like how he walked. You don't want a 20 minute report!
  5. 5
Write or type your report. This can be done in a word processor such as open office or Microsoft Word.
  6. 6
Check spelling and grammar this is important if you want to make your project look good
  7. 7
Add pictures and charts! If you want an article to flourish you must make it interesting.
  8. 8
When you feel you are close to done make a final check for spelling, also make a few final touches.

EditTips

  • Make sure to check spelling and grammar, these are critical to the report.
  • Make sure to give eye contact to your audience. If you do this they will know you are not lying.

EditWarnings

  • Do not stereotype or copy and paste text directly from a website - this is plagiarism.
