1If your parent says no then don't make an argument in public.

2Take them somewhere else and have a debate, try not to raise your voice.

3If they still say no then ask why, give reasons to say yes etc.

4If they still say no, then leave it. If you make a huge argument then you won't change anything (your parents won't change their minds) and you will feel guilty AND your parents will be crabby for hours.
