Nowadays, there are many problems in writing content for websites or blogs or article hosts without copyright issues. Specifically after the Panda update of Google many content based web portals are getting terribly hit in terms of Page Rank, Traffic.


In this article I wish to share my opinion on writing copyright issues-free web content based on my content writing exposure. Lets now see the precautions to be taken while writing content so that Google doesn't Spam it or there is no other copyright issues.

    Data collection. The major problem in online media is that most content writers research data from existing online content. This is the main reason for copyright issues since we are just rewriting available data. Google also has its own algorithms and means to check content originality.

    Informative content. In case you are an expert in a particular field try to input your real time knowledge in your content. Keep it as informative as possible. Try to add value to the reader such that they comeback to your content for reference or bookmark your web page.

    How to check for duplication. There are different ways to check for content duplication. One way is to key in every sentence of your content into Google search and see to that there are no more that three continuous repetitions. Another way is to use paid tools like Copy scape that tell you the amount of duplication in your content.

    Protecting your content. Once you are through with the content you need to use some features to protect your ownership for the content. You can use features like watermark(Use your logo or symbol in the background and make it protected. You can use the disable right click option so that visitors can't instantly copy your content.

    Rewriting. In case you are rewriting existing content try to understand the info and present it in your own words. Use your own lingo and try to add more value to existing content.
