Movie cinemas also have party rooms. Consult your local cinema, to see if they have one available for holding a party for your child, and find out the cost, etc.
  3. Select a Location for a First Communion Party Step 3.jpg

Perhaps instead of reserving or renting a space for a party, you may like to celebrate at your local park or playground, etc.

You may even like to have the party at home. Make a list of how many guests you will be having, perhaps your house will be big enough for such an event.

EditTips

  • For the first suggestion about "child-oriented restaurants," think about a restaurant such as Chuck E. Cheese, etc., rather than a restaurant such as McDonalds. McDonalds parties are geared more towards children around 5 years or under, rather than for children around 8 years old. On the other hand, some restaurants, such as "the Pickle Barrel" may be geared towards people a little older than 8 - 10 years old, and would be better for celebrating your son/daughter's Confirmation, when the time comes.
  • Since this is a Holy event which you are celebrating, begin the party meal by saying 'Grace,' or perhaps have your child be the one to say 'Grace,' since it is his/her special day.
