How to Select a Location for a First Communion Party
Edited by Carolyn Barratt, Flickety, Patti_mmac, Anna and 1 other
So you are about to celebrate your child's First Holy Communion. This is a very huge milestone for your child in the Church, and would love to have hold a very nice party for this special event. But, you do not know where to hold the party, and would like to find out.
EditSteps
-
1Make a list of child-oriented restaurants, and see if they reserve for parties for children.Ad
-
2Movie cinemas also have party rooms. Consult your local cinema, to see if they have one available for holding a party for your child, and find out the cost, etc.
-
3Perhaps instead of reserving or renting a space for a party, you may like to celebrate at your local park or playground, etc.
-
4You may even like to have the party at home. Make a list of how many guests you will be having, perhaps your house will be big enough for such an event.Ad
EditTips
- For the first suggestion about "child-oriented restaurants," think about a restaurant such as Chuck E. Cheese, etc., rather than a restaurant such as McDonalds. McDonalds parties are geared more towards children around 5 years or under, rather than for children around 8 years old. On the other hand, some restaurants, such as "the Pickle Barrel" may be geared towards people a little older than 8 - 10 years old, and would be better for celebrating your son/daughter's Confirmation, when the time comes.
- Since this is a Holy event which you are celebrating, begin the party meal by saying 'Grace,' or perhaps have your child be the one to say 'Grace,' since it is his/her special day.
EditWarnings
- Beware of serving foods for guests who may have allergies.
EditThings You'll Need
- Party invitations.
- Decorations.
- The Yellow Pages(for seeking a place for the party).
