EditTips
- It may be a good idea to keep junk food out of the house at all times
- Use your imagination to make up some new contests!
- Be sure to have a prize for the winner based on the age! Whether it be money or a new toy be sure that it is appealing to the competitors so that they will want to work hard to get that prize
- The "Who Can Last the Longest Without Junk Food" contest was very effective on a child after 2 weeks of no junk food and more exercising. She lost 8 pounds!
- Never push yourself over the limit when you know that it could injure yourself.
- If you give your child the warning eye, it may have somewhat of an effect if he/she tries to order some double scoop ice cream.
- Always stretch before exercising.
- A splurge is okay once in a while, but make the child earn that splurge. Let's say your at a birthday party, and it's cake time! it is okay to let him/her have a slice of cake.
