EditSteps
-
1Have an idea of what you want your drawing to be, and have subject(s) ready and in place.Ad
-
2Draw the basic shape.
-
3Refine the shape a bit.
-
4Start adding some of the larger details.
-
5Take a break.
- This is one of the most important steps.
- At least take a break every 15-20 minutes or if you start to get frustrated.
- Some ideas of what to do during a break is take about 15 minutes and write a story to go with the picture, listen to music, watch TV, or play video games.
-
6Add some of the smaller details.
-
7Add finishing touches like finishing off the head/face, or outlining your drawing.
-
8Color the drawing. (If desired.)
-
9Ask yourself, "Is this the way I want it? Do I like it?"
- Your drawings may not turn out how you want the first time. So try again!
