This is steps to create a good drawing, part from another article I created, Draw Anthro/ Draw Anthro Pokemon.

    Have an idea of what you want your drawing to be, and have subject(s) ready and in place.

    Draw the basic shape.

    Refine the shape a bit.
  4. 4
    Start adding some of the larger details.

    Take a break.
    • This is one of the most important steps.
    • At least take a break every 15-20 minutes or if you start to get frustrated.
    • Some ideas of what to do during a break is take about 15 minutes and write a story to go with the picture, listen to music, watch TV, or play video games.

    Add some of the smaller details.

    Add finishing touches like finishing off the head/face, or outlining your drawing.

    Color the drawing. (If desired.)

    Ask yourself, "Is this the way I want it? Do I like it?"
    • Your drawings may not turn out how you want the first time. So try again!
