EditSteps
-
1Position yourself opposite your opponent. With your palms facing upwards, stick out the index (or pointer) fingers of both hands toward your opponent.
-
2Choose who should go first.
-
3Make the first move. Tap either of your opponent's hands (that is right or left) with either of your own hands. The opponent has to add the number of fingers on your hand with the number of fingers on the hand that was tapped, and stick out those many fingers.
-
4Continue this process. When the opponent's chance comes, he or she will tap either of your hands with one of his or her own hands. Now you have to add the number of fingers on the opponent's hand with the number of finger on the hand that was tapped, and then stick out those many fingers.
-
5Be wise in what you pick. Once a person has all five fingers up, that hand is out. Whoever has all hands out loses. If you have one hand up and the other out, you can bring it back only if you have two, or four, fingers sticking out.
- If you have two, you can split it with one finger on each hand, just like how it was at the beginning of the game.
- If you have four, you can split with two fingers on each hand.

EditTips
- To raise the chance of your success, let your opponent go first. Then you will have two fingers on a hand and one finger on the other. Now, you should attack with your single-fingered hand only. Avoid attacking with the double-fingered hand.
