Here's an alternate way (only for Windows):

  1. Collect all your photos you want to use.
  2. Create a new folder in your Documents.
  3. Copy and paste all the photos you want to use into this folder.
  4. On your desktop, right click.
  5. Choose "Properties"
  6. Click the tab labeled "Screen Saver."
  7. In the dropbox, click "My Pictures Slideshow."
  8. Click "Settings."
  9. Click "Browse."
  10. Choose the folder you saved the photos into.
  11. Click "OK"
  12. Enjoy!
