-
1Have certain spots for certain stuff. If you have 25 video games, put them in order based on their game system. Like, put Wii games in the back, put Playstation 2 in the middle, and put XBOX 360 games in the front.Ad
-
2Dust. If you have a Swiffer duster, remove the dust from areas that your guests are able to see clearly, such as your TV, bookshelf, and coffee table (if you have one).
-
3Put papers in the filing cabinet. Organize THEM alphabetically. For instance, "Research about Denver, CO" under "R".
-
4Pick up the trash. If you have wrappers or cardboard laying around in visible spots, pick it up and put it in the trash, if it is cardboard, just recycle it.
-
5Wash your dishes. You need to be prepared with clean dishes if the guests are staying for dinner.
-
6Make the table presentable. If your table is covered in grime and a coffee stain, take out your sponge and soap it down. After that, dry off the table and put a nice tablecloth over it.
-
7Take out the trash and recycling. This way, the guests don't have to face the stench of rotting banana peels and carrot skins.
-
8Have dinner ready. Prepare the dinner, set it out on the table in equal amounts, same thing with the drinks.
-
9Have a rack for coats or hats, just in case.
-
10If your guests aren't going upstairs, don't worry about the cleanliness up there.
-
11Be presentable. Brush your teeth, comb/brush your hair, and have on nice clothing, and shave your face (if you're a guy.Ad
