With Fitbit, you can set goals that you need to reach to improve the quality of physical activity you’re doing. It’s also easy to do since you can create goals using your computer or mobile device.

    Go to the Fitbit website. Open an Internet browser then type in http://www.fitbit.com on the address bar and hit Enter.

    Log in. Click the “Log In” button at the upper-right corner of the web page, and enter your account details (email address and password) on the fields provided. Press the “Log In” button to be directed straight to your account’s Dashboard (the home page).

    Go to the Settings menu. Click the gear icon at the upper-right corner of the page, and from the options, select “Settings.”.

    Access the Devices menu. From the Settings menu, click “Devices.”

    Choose the Fitbit device/accessory you’re using. There are many Fitbit devices, such as the Flex, Zip, One, Force, or Aria; just select the one you are using.

    Select the goal you want to set. Do this on under the “Daily Goal Progress,” and set the values you like for the goal.

    Save your changes. Click the “Set” button to save the goal you’ve created or any changes you’ve made on existing goals.

    Download the application on your smartphone. Currently, the Fitbit app is only available for iOS and Android smartphones and can be downloaded for free. Use your smartphone’s app store to search for the Fitbit app and download it.

    Launch the Fitbit app on your phone. Tap its icon on your phone’s home screen to open it.

    Sign into your Fitbit account. Once launched, you’ll be asked to sign in. Do so by inputting your username and passwords on the fields provided then tapping “Sign in.” You’ll then be directed to the Dashboard section of the app (your account’s home screen).

    Start creating a goal. Click the “Edit” button at the upper-right corner of the screen to start creating a goal.

    Set your goal. Select the goal you’d like to set and adjust the values you want for it.

    Save your changes. Tap “Set” to save the goal you’ve created or any changes you’ve made on existing goals.
