Volleyball is a great sport that is a lot of fun. But you can't practice, or learn, without a court. So read this article to find out how to build one for yourself!

1Choose where you want the court to be. A nice, flat area of grass is a good option.

2Buy a net. Preferably one with poles already included, but if you want, you can just use some 7-8' tall garden poles instead. Nets are sold at most sports stores.

3Put the poles in the ground and set up the net. The instruction for setting up different nets are different, so look on the back of the box.

4Paint the court lines. White spray paint is a good choice. The measurements are different for different types of volleyball though(men's, women's, beach, etc.) so look up where the lines need to go for your type of volleyball.

5Play. Have some friends over or ask your family to come out and play.
