Volleyball is a great sport that is a lot of fun. But you can't practice, or learn, without a court. So read this article to find out how to build one for yourself!

EditSteps

  1. 1
Choose where you want the court to be. A nice, flat area of grass is a good option.
  2. 2
Buy a net. Preferably one with poles already included, but if you want, you can just use some 7-8' tall garden poles instead. Nets are sold at most sports stores.
  3. 3
Put the poles in the ground and set up the net. The instruction for setting up different nets are different, so look on the back of the box.
  4. 4
Paint the court lines. White spray paint is a good choice. The measurements are different for different types of volleyball though(men's, women's, beach, etc.) so look up where the lines need to go for your type of volleyball.
  5. 5
Play. Have some friends over or ask your family to come out and play.
