At school, chances are that you are not allowed to bring in presents to give to people other than secret Santa (if you do it at your school). Or, perhaps you are allowed but are giving presents to most of your form/class but not all of them and don't want them to get upset as they didn't get a present.     Secretly, call over the ones you want to give presents to and tell them that in their card, you will write a note on a separate sheet of paper telling them where to meet you after school and give them the present when everyone you told to meet you has arrived.

  • If your school checks bags and lockers around Christmas to check that no-one has brought in presents except their secret Santa present (if you do secret Santa) or no presents at all then arrange to meet up with friends within the holidays and give them their presents then or you may be in serious trouble or even have the presents confiscated. If you are new and it is a surprise check, find a way to hide presents or ask a teacher about this rule.
