Over the summer there are camps in Mt. Hood Oregon. Mt. Hood has snow year round because it is on a glacier. There two main camps for snowboarding.

    Go to your local ski resort whenever there is a competition going on. Chances are these camps will booths set up for info.

    Go to http://www.highcascade.com to look at their options.

    Go to http://www.windells.com. A rival camp of High Cascade. I have not been to Windells.

  • These camps are almost identical. However, if you are a skier as well and want to get better at that too Windells offers skiing and snowboarding while High Cascade is 100% snowboarding.
  • Although very similar, the camps will have different attractions such as different pros, attractions, different skate parks, etc.

  • Don't feel discouraged by people at these camps. Most of them will probably be going pro at some point.
