EditSteps
-
1Buy a bird cage. Make sure that the cage is big enough for both parakeets to share.
-
2Get parakeet supplies. Like cup holders, bird seed, water, millet, a swing, a toy or two, something to put at the bottom of the cage, perches and a blanket to cover the cage at night. You can buy more parakeet supplies if you want, but not too much.
-
3Put your parakeets in the cage and let them explore!
EditTips
- Give them fresh bird seed and water.
- If you have no other animals in your house, you can take your birds out once in a while, but parakeets like shiny things, so be aware of that.
- You can always play with your parakeets.
EditWarnings
- Do not put too much stuff in the cage; it will overload and the parakeets will not be able to move around.
