EditSteps
-
1Try Ask.com instead. This is a good alternative to one of the four main search engines, the others being Bing, Yahoo!, and of course Google.com.
-
2Consider using the video uploading site MetaCafe, an alternative to YouTube.
-
3When you need to find your way around, try Wikimapia. It is great for when you're tired of Google maps.
-
4Try to find alternatives to Gmail. There are plenty of free email address boxes around even Yahoo, so think twice about Gmail.
-
5If you have a Mozilla browser, then there are several add-ons you can use.
- Sick of Google ads? One of the Add-ons is Adblock Pro which can be used with a "google" filter, and you won't be sick anymore.
- Another add-on is Ghostery which will block those Google web trackers.
- Lastly the better privacy add-on will delete flash super cookies for you.
