How to Help Someone Cope with Their Headache
OW! Another headache! Only, it isn't your headache. It's someone else's! If you love them and want to help, or you just can't take their whining, here's how to deal with a burning headache of someone other than you.
Steps
-
1Bring that person to a dark room with a bed. Or just bring them to a bedroom and turn off the lights. That works too. Lie them on the bed and close any curtains. Make it as dark as possible. People have headaches because their eyes hurt sometimes.Ad
-
2Tell them to close their eyes.
-
3Cover them with blankets.
-
4Tell them to pull their cheeks (not too hard but not too soft either).
-
5Massage their head on the sides and push a bit.
-
6Dip a face towel in warm water and put it on their head. Try not to get the bed wet though.
-
7Repeat this step for a while or keep pulling cheeks or massaging head. Ask if they are better every once in a while. When they say yes, ask if you need to keep massaging or doing the warm water. When they say no, you and that person can have fun again!Ad
