How to Use Find in Google Chrome
So you are used to using Firefox or Internet Explorer, but now you've switched to Google Chrome. That's all fine, but where has your beloved menu bar gone? How are you now going to search for specific words or phrases inside webpages? Don't panic - read on to learn how to use the "find" function in Chrome.

1Look for the wrench icon in the top right of your Chrome screen. Please note that the colour might vary from the one pictured on the right, depending on what theme you have installed in your browser.Ad

2Click on the wrench and then scroll down the drop-down box to "Find...". Click on it. Or just press [ctrl]+[f] as with most browsers.

3Type in the find bar that will appear at the top of your browser. You needn't press enter, your search terms will automatically appear highlighted on your screen as you type.

4Use the up and down buttons on the right of the find bar to move between the different places your search terms were found. Click on the cross next to the up and down buttons when you are finished, to close the search bar.Ad
