I think this is a great opportunity to help others which I've found to be a key part in having a happy life and feeling useful. Generally, I like to help make wikiHow a more efficient "How To" Manual.
My wikiGnome (Original source, shared with permission) activities include writing new wikiHow articles, patroling recent changes with the RCP Tool. I sometimes help merge articles and am considering joining the Merge Team.
I also try to be helpful to new wikiHowians and hope to get a Welcome Wagon Badge eventually, by becoming a Welcome Wagon User on wikiHow by welcoming new wikiHow Users and use the Welcome Wagon Tool. What I do in real life:
I am an actor, singer, ventriloquist, and been a model railroad hobbyist for 20 plus years using N Scale models . I've also been a Network Engineer for a major ISP (Internet Service Provider) and worked as a Third Tier Support in their Network Operations Center (NOC) for larger customers such as LA, EBay, San Diego County, etc. I used monitoring tools and routing skills and knowledge for company networks and Cisco routing commands as well as end-user routers of all types.
I'm presently working on designing and publishing my new website, which is "Coming Soon" as they say at: www.yourbestITguy.com (Original source, shared with permission).
I am retired but am still pursuing my dream of being a screen actor.
