There's two ways to write an article. You can answer a request by scrolling over "help us" in the top right corner- then, you can choose a category and search through article topic requests made by other users. After clicking on a request, you make sure that wikiHow doesn't have another article on that topic, and then you can write your article. You can also answer article requests on the community dashboard (located under "explore").

The other way is to scroll over "help us" and click "write an article". Then, enter the title of the article you want to write and get started!

The biggest thing you have to watch out for is duplicate articles. Make sure you search your planned article title on the search bar; duplicate articles end up getting deleted or merged with another article.
