That’s a pretty broad question, so we’ll do our best to cover all the bases:
1. Find Your Passion. Organize them to Find Your Life’s Purpose.
2. Then, Find Your Dream Career.
3. Does your Dream Career require Graduate School? (Such as: Doctor, Lawyer, and Pharmacist?) FYI: You may need A Letter of Recommendation from some Professors, establish good relationships ASAP!
4. If not, find out what it takes to Get a Job.
5. Definitely: a) Network (to learn about potential careers, companies, and potential open positions), b) Make a Resume, and c) Write a Cover Letter when applying.
7. Then Prepare for the Job Interview, Avoid Interview Mistakes, and Impress Your Interviewer. Take it a step further and prepare for specifics of the interview, such as: Phone Interview, Webcam Interview, Human Resource Interview, Group Interview, Panel Interview, Psychometric Tests, How to Ask Questions Intelligently, Tough Interview Questions, "Tell Me Something About Yourself", Work Ethic Question, Team Player Questions, Conflict Questions, Ethical Questions, Negative Information Questions, Management Style Questions, etc.
8. You can also build your experience while you are in school and during the summers! Consider Finding an Internship and/or Volunteering as additional options to build your resume for your dream job!
9. Seriously review your finances: Pay Off Student Loans, Budget, and Save Money. Plan to have an Emergency Fund that can cover all of your finances (rent, utilities, food, etc.) for at least 3 months!
10. Be Healthy. Eat Healthy. Take Yoga. Meditate. Sleep Better. Learn Something New Every Day. Be a Good Friend. Live in the Moment. Live Life to the Fullest. Be the best version of You - and if you don’t know what that is, Find it.
Being Independent (and growing increasingly independent) will have its growing pains; “failed” events may even inevitably push you in a better direction! In these times, remember what you are Grateful for and Be Positive (which may in turn attract positivity!). Happiness is within reach, trust yourself! Believe. Discover.
