Have you wondered what a website looked like in the past. Now you can look at the past. (What did we think of 9/11 when it first hit, and what about Hurricane Katrina?)

Tips
Provide Details.
Please be as detailed as possible in your explanation. Don't worry about formatting! We'll take care of it. For example:
Don't say: Eat more fats.
Do say: Add fats with some nutritional value to the foods you already eat. Try olive oil, butter, avocado, and mayonnaise.

EditTips

  • Remember to input the full webpage for webpages with lots of files in pages several folders down. If the page is located at http://www.123.com/123/321.htm, be sure to input this full address(not just the www.123.com part(unless you want to see the homepage itself only.
  • If you'd like to go back farther than just the beginning of the same year, you can go back to years past from the toolbar of images processed to the bot at the top of the page.
  • Some of the older archives are missing pictures. In this case, keep clicking different dates until you find a working one.

EditWarnings

  • Links to pages further in on the web aren't always archived on the same day as the page you enquired about. You'll get an error message when you try to do something on the page. Just use the Wayback Machine to view the page only.
