This skill is
an opposite to the Front
Limber.The
athlete begins with arms overhead, and legs together, and arches
back to arrive at a Bridge
position.The
weight is shifted from the feet to the hands, and with a slight
rocking motion, the feet are pulled up from the floor, and the
back is straightened to arrive in a handstand. To execute a true Back Limber, the gymnast should then
lower the feet to the floor in a Piked
position, and finally, raise the arms overhead.
