This is another method of uninstalling and removing Windows Messenger by using the command line.

EditSteps

  1. 1
    Go to the Start button (in Windows).
  2. 2
    Select Run.
  3. 3
    Get into DOS prompt.
  4. 4
    Type in the following command:

rundll32 advpack.dll, LaunchINFSection %systemroot%\Inf\Msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove.
