Laremy Legel
My hope is that the sequels are actual attempts at movies. The world doesn't need any more toothless cinema.
Manohla Dargis
A deeply sincere, outright goofy vampire romance for the hot-not-to-trot abstinence set.
Trevor Johnston
Some will find it all too polite, but compared to rival blockbuster exercises in explosive CGI mayhem, its character-based index of longing and protectiveness at least provides a viable alternative moodscape.
Ruth Hessey
I succumbed to the palpable chemistry between the leads, and remembered my own girlish fantasies with something of a head-spinning rush.
Ben Mankiewicz
I think this film is definitely a victim of it's own expectations.
Ben Lyons
Unfortunately, it just didn't work.

Go buy the book, this movie is a disgrace The book was great but the movie is what turned twilight into a joke. Kristen Stewart can't act, in fact she is unbelievably horrible and robert Pattison is pretty awful too. Maybe if they had gotten another director and better actors they could of done twilight justice. Instead they butchered it and idiotic girls who never read the book fan girl over this crappy movie.
This movie is AWESOME you should watch it! I love this movie it rocks! So do all of the other twilight movies If you watch them you will believe in love at first sight I did and I am still in love its everlasting love

Hated it So apparently she gave up the greatest opportunity forever of going to heaven to be with another guy. Sounds normal why is this not surprising. Im going to make sure this doesn't get bought somehow if I see anyone at Wal-Mart with this disc im slamming it out of there hands and telling them No.
Twilame. Seriously? 5 crap-tastic movies adapated from one good book (Twilight) and 3 God awful pieces of garbage you people call chick-lit.
Awsome! I love this movie so much! Only if they could put out the full series.:-)
Love Loved the books and they did the movie very well. I love Edward! The whole saga is amazing!
