On a remote island commune just off the coast of France, Sasha, a lonely mother of a ten-month-old daughter takes in Tatiana, a drifter backpacking across the country. Initially wary of the stranger's odd presence, Sasha opens herself up to Tatiana as the tension builds between the two.
