How to Access the Secret Administrator Account Using the Welcome Screen on Windows XP Professional Edition

Steps

1You should see the Welcome Screen. If you have a password on your account, click it.
- ALL users must be logged off with NO programs running, otherwise it will not work.

2Press CTRL-ALT-DEL.
- By the way, CTRL means Control.

3The Classic Windows 2000 login dialog box will appear.
- In the User name box, type Administrator.
- Leave the password box blank.
