    Find the software online and download iPod software 3.1.3.

    Turn Wi-Fi off.

    Open iTunes and connect iPod.

    Press Ctrl+restore for PC, or alt+restore for mac.

    After pressing the button turn Wi-Fi back on and let iTunes do the work.
