EditSteps
-
1Go to the filezilla website and download its server pack http://filezilla-project.org/ (Windows only!)
-
2To start making the server, you will click the icon.. You should see a screen with the Server Address, Port, and Administration password.. Right away just click OK! Do not mess with the numbers or items or it won`t work. (If it starts to break, uninstall it and reinstall it again)
-
3Check to see if it's running. Once it shows the big screen, It should show that your logged in. If it doesn't then try entering it again or uninstall then reinstall.
-
4Once its running, make a group or user. When we make a group, we can use it for a fast button for making users and groups and make it so we can edit all the users in a group at once.
-
5Go to Edit>Groups. First we need to make a user. We click "Add". We give the group a new name.
-
6First the Connections. If we want a limited amount of users on the FTP we would put 5, that means 5 users in that group can only come on.
-
7Then the Shared Folder. This is the folder we want to share for them
