    This kind of error occurs when a keyboard is digitally lock for some reason or the other. Firstly, press the "Fn" button on the keyboard.

    Press the Number lock key. try typing in notepad to see if the error is resolved. if not hold down the "Fn" key, press Shift key and press the number lock key.
