The option to use to avoid any time out (charging or not) is to select "Never Turn Off". If you want to override the "Never Turn Off" temporarily without going through all this, just simply press down the Power button (not hold it down) to turn the display off.
How do you get it to automatically not time out when attached to a power supply.
