• OpenJDK: Nashorn - Implement a lightweight high-performance JavaScript runtime in Java with a native JVM.
  
• Rhino - An open-source implementation of JavaScript written entirely in Java.
  
• SpiderMonkey - Mozilla's JavaScript engine written in C/C++. It is used in various Mozilla products, including Firefox, and is available under the MPL2.
  
• Tamarin - JavaScript engine written in C++. Implements Adobe ActionScript 3 (a superset of ECMAScript Edition 3) and is embedded within the Adobe Flash Player versions 9 and later.
