How to Handle Security when Practicing Parkour
Have you ever been kicked out of the best spot on the planet by security while practicing parkour? Learn how to deal with them and (maybe) have them allow you to continue training.
EditSteps
-
1If you are approached by security, be VERY respectful and say hi or start conversation.Ad
-
2If they ask, "What are you kids doing?!" then just simply say, "Practicing parkour!"
-
3By this time they might tell you to leave. But if they seem curious, then explain what parkour is and maybe show them some (simple) movements.
-
4If you are VERY respectful and look him/her straight in the eye, they just might let you continue your practice.

EditTips
- BE RESPECTFUL!!!
- Don't run away when you see the security, because they will NEVER let you continue
- Learn when security patrols (e.g every half hour) and the placements of cameras that way you can avoid them in future
- Have a smile on your face, because the security officer won't let brats continue, but maybe nice kids.
- Parkour is not illegal if practiced in a public place and if you are not disturbing the peace of anyone else around you. Parkour should never be practiced only in private properties.
- Remember if you are on private property, the security officers DO have authority to kick you out or call the police for trespassing.
- If they ask, "What happens if you fall?" say something like, "We won't sue the brick wall if we fall cause its OUR fault."
EditWarnings
- You might be taken in for TRESPASSING (if you were on the roof or something)
